Booked guests with accommodation can go for free drives around the reserve or guided drives. 

It's possible to be day visitors -no accommodation- around Vaalboskraal to see the wildlife as well, for a fee.

On occasion, we offer bow hunting for certain game, but game are only guaranteed if booked in advance. There is a slaughtering tariff or trophy slaughtering fee per buck, and a cold room available. We have a shooting range for setting rifles, and safe for keeping of rifles and ammunition.

Around Vaalboskraal there are 11 game species, an abundance of bird life and a lookout at the water hole. The game species are: Eland, Waterbuck, Impala, Blue Wildebeest, Springbok, Ostriches, Red Hartebeest, Kudu, Gemsbuck, Zebra and Blesbuck.
